An award-winning serial tech entrepreneur, Ash was born and raised in inner-city Birmingham to working class immigrant parents. He sold his first internet business at the age of just 19. Ash was the First Marketing Director at Just Eat UK, the online food-ordering giant in 2007. During his time there he used his commercial acumen and growth hacking skills, including launching its first TV campaign to grow it at breakneck speed. Just Eat went on to IPO for £1.5 Billion on the London Stock Exchange – making it the UK’s largest tech IPO in the last decade. He has consulted, advised and invested in 100’s of startups at various different stages, specialising in the lean startup methodology for early stage startups and has sat on both sides of the table as a hand’s on founder and angel investor. He is a sought after startup mentor and speaker and happily provides pro-bono time to charities and social projects. After that, he founded Fare Exchange – a bootstrapped performance voice based lead-generation company in transportation that generated more than £25 million in revenue. He has since founded and worked with numerous other startups in various senior roles and currently mentors and advises several investments globally. He has been invited to speak at several top universities and technology expos about his story and business insights. Ash has recently shared his concept of “The Unfair Advantage” at TEDx.
